Cyberpunk 2077 is developed by CD Projekt Red and was a massively awaited game for a decade. Its popularity was already soaring high even before its release. However, fans were majorly disappointed on release as the game was riddled with bugs and glitches. This made the game almost impossible to progress through.
The developers rolled out several patches and updates to fix the issues. Right now, developers are rolling out Patch 1.2 and sme of its features are:
- Improving Police Response time
- Driving fixes
- Vehicle adjustments
- Movement mechanics
CD Projekt Red had shared the details on Twitter but no release date has been announced as of yet.
The previous patch 1.1 was supposed to be followed by Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.2, but cyber-attacks on CD Projekt Red had delayed it. However, it seems that the patch will be released soon.

Improving Police Response Time
The NCPD Quick Response Team spawns behind the player when they commit a crime. However, due to the unrealistic feature of this, now the police will take some time to arrive at the spot. There is also the addition of a drone that will monitor the crime.
Driving and Vehicle adjustments
There will be a new addition called the steering sensitivity setting. Therefore, players can adjust the sensitivity of their steering wheel in the settings menu. Moreover, it has been adjusted for lower FPS.
Players can get to rock their car with their accelerator in case the vehicle gets stuck.
Movement Mechanics
The main feature that is getting a tweak is the “double tapping to dodge” mechanic. This is being changed due to several complaints from players as it makes weird movements.
There will be a new on/off switch added to turn off the the feature.
However, the official full patch notes will be released later. The dates for the release haven’t been revealed as of yet. Players can expect that somewhere in May 2021.
