Los Angeles Lakers’ Lebron James is all praise and gets pumped up as Jared Dudley scores a clutch 3-pointer against Phoenix Suns in their pre-season Game 3. With 55 seconds left on the clock the points gap between Suns and the Lakers was marginal. Having said that, Dudley was trusted with the ball to shoot from behind the arc. To everyone’s surprise, Dudley connected superbly! Giving the Lakers a crucial lead as they won by 5 points. 

Dudley’s 3-pointer set the Lakers’ bench buzzing and Lebron James in particular gets pumped up. One would suggest that Dudley hasn’t had the required game time with the Lakers to prove his worth. But honestly, there have been others who have done relatively better than him in lesser number of minutes played. 

Lebron James praises Jared Dudley 

Dudley impressed the most with his stint with the Brooklyn Nets, surely what got him a trade to the Los Angeles Lakers. But Dudley is now seen on the court when marquee players want to be rested rather than playing a experienced role. His importance is more in the Lakers’ locker room guiding and bonding with the youngsters than on the court. 

Apart from this, the game against the Suns belonged to Kyle Kuzma and Talen Horton-Tucket yet again and their newly found stupendous form. The youngster scored 23 and 18 points with four three-pointers and further proved he can deliver from the frontline. 

Lastly Jared is a well-respected entity who is known for contributing to the growth of Kyle Kuzma. A team player is not just someone who goes out and delivers in numbers. At times, these intangible additions also make a bigger impact, and that is something that has already been on display.
