It appears June was the month of Dak Prescott. First, it was his contract negotiation resumed by the Dallas Cowboys as he is seeking a lucrative deal and now, he has officially become a free man after having the s**ual assault charges against him dismissed by the judge.

For several months, the Cowboys’ star quarterback has been dealing with s**ual assault allegations made by a woman seven years ago, which Prescott’s attorneys labeled as an attempt to tarnish his reputation. Interestingly, last month in May, the Dallas police put an end to the investigation for finding “insufficient evidence” to support the woman’s claim against the quarterback.

The case has officially been dismissed after Judge Angela Tucker gave the final ruling based on the Dallas Police report, deciding not to pursue the charges. While talking to the media, Prescott’s attorney Levi McCathern asserted that the case against the NFL quarterback was nothing but an attempt to “grab money” and also called out the plaintiff and her attorney for making the false case for money.

This case never even was referred to the grand jury by the Dallas PD. That’s because there was no corroborating evidence. There was no basis in facts.

Given, that earlier this year in February, the woman contacted Prescott alleging that he assaulted her in the back of an SUV outside the Dallas Strip Club in 2017. She demanded $100 million from the quarterback to not file a case against him.

Since the very beginning of the allegations, Prescott knew he was innocent and so his attorneys went public with the allegation and filed an extortion case against the woman. Prescott and his legal team have been denying the charges and referring to them as defamatory.

Despite [the plaintiff] and her legal team's relentless efforts to extort money and damage Dak's reputation, justice has consistently prevailed and will continue to do so.

In addition to dismissing the charges against the NFL player, Judge Tucker has also fixed a date for a hearing in mid-September to discuss the appropriate measures to be taken against the plaintiff for a false case.
