Becoming a father to baby girl MJ and the highest-paid quarterback in history wasn’t enough for Dak Prescott; as he made this year truly unforgettable by finally proposing to his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos.
As the Dallas Cowboys entered their bye week, quarterback Prescott decided to spend all this time with his family. To make this time more special, he expressed his love for the mother of his child in a beautiful ceremony, asking her to be his lifelong partner. But this style of proposing was truly one-of-a-kind.
The three-time Pro Bowler had some help from his adorable daughter of eight months, whom he dressed up in a white onesie featuring the most-awaited question for her mother. It read, “Hi Mommy, Daddy has a question for you?” where the letter ‘O’ was in “you” replaced by a ring. Prescott shared this update via his Instagram account’s story on Friday.
Of course, she said yes! The proposal was truly a testament to their love and family bond and there couldn’t be a better way. The love birds welcomed their baby girl earlier this year in February– the month of the Super Bowl.
Fatherhood has changed a lot in Dak Prescott
Since becoming a father, the Cowboys quarterback has been quite vocal about fatherhood and the profound impact it had on him. Becoming a parent has not only shifted his perspective on life, but also made him more responsible.

The signal-caller even joked about considering changing diapers a different level of challenge compared to standing tall in the pockets and making throws while bearing down by the NFL defenders. He previously shared that he has changed diapers once or twice, but that was a “handful” for him, so now he prefers passing “that job along.”
Since he and Jane Ramos announced they were expecting a baby, she has actively shared updates with fans and followers about her growing family. Despite the baby MJ being just a few months old, Jane Ramos takes her to Prescott’s games to cheer for him and show their support.
Prescott’s sentiments for his child and girlfriend (and now fiancee) echoed well during his proposal ceremony as he emphasized the importance of family. Prescott’s whole life has changed since he became a father and in many ways, it made him ready for the challenges both on and off the field.
