Dak Prescott wasn’t happy seeing the media focusing too much on the demolition of his mansion. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback called out the media for prying too much into his personal space, especially since he is now a father.
While answering questions on the Cowboys’ week 6 fixture against the Detroit Lions on Thursday, Prescott mentioned that he did not appreciate the nation’s media zooming in while the workers demolished his home in Prosper, Texas.
He was caught off guard when one reporter suddenly brought the topic up. The 3x Pro Bowler revealed that most of the time people are afraid of change, but it’s necessary to go through with it.
Dak Prescott spoke today on how he doesn’t appreciate the coverage around his home renovation project that drew national attention.

Prescott bought the 8800-square-foot mansion in 2019 for $3 million, according to Collin County Appraisal District records. The Mississippi State added a few personal touches to the place, adding a tennis court in 2023 to go along with a turf football field he installed back in 2020.
Videos taken by WFAA show bulldozers breaking it down wall by wall. Photos taken at the site even captured Prescott speaking with his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos.
Witty question from a reporter makes Dak Prescott laugh while talking about the demolition of his mansion
Harris quickly changed the subject back to the Lions game with an improvised question.
The entire room broke into laughter, and even Prescott joined in.
Well, Prescott can easily afford a new mansion, as he signed a $60 million-a-year deal before the season began.
Yet that’s secondary; as he mentioned, his and the Cowboys’ focus remains fixated on the Lions fixture, which saw a controversial end last season.
