Dak Prescott only has two postseason wins to show in nine years with the Dallas Cowboys. He plans to change that during his 10th season by winning the Super Bowl.
2024 was a disaster. Despite picking up a win in week one, the Cowboys conceded 44 points against the Saints. It was only the teaser of future humiliations.
Losses and injuries kept piling up. Baltimore, Detroit, San Francisco, and Atlanta took points from the NFC East franchise before tragedy struck.
Prescott pulled a hamstring in week 9. The injury forced the 31-year-old to sit out the rest of the campaign. It was the final nail in the Cowboys’ coffin because they never recovered from it, even though backup Cooper Rush did provide some moments of joy.
For the first time since 2020, Dallas wasn’t in the playoffs. Owner Jerry Jones fired Mike McCarthy, along with most of the top coaches.
Brian Schottenheimer took over as the new coach. However, he has no prior experience leading a team.
Despite lacking experience, Schottenheimer has full support from Prescott. The Pro Bowler is finally determined to make it count by winning his first Lombardi Trophy and the franchise’s first since 1995 (the Cowboys have won five previous Super Bowls).
What I have done or accomplished really doesn’t hold any weight to me. So, I can’t say like not having it weighs me down or anything. That’s the true f***ing motivation. That’s the truth… It’s obvious that I don’t [have a Super Bowl], so it’s not like, Oh my god, somebody knows there’s a secret—like like my secrets out. No, f*** that.

Prescott’s looking a lot leaner than before. He lost a few pounds during the offseason, creating a lot of buzz when his shirtless photos hit the internet.

Dak Prescott backs Tyler Smith’s claims that the Cowboys are Super Bowl contenders
Every team starts at zero in week one, but the odds of winning the Super Bowl are always different. It depends on the strength of the roster and the schedule.

According to Sharp Football Analysis, the Cowboys drew the 11th toughest schedule for the 2025 campaign. Pro Football Focus ranked the Cowboys’ roster as the 15th best in the league.
Keeping that in mind, Vegas Sports Bet projected that the Cowboys have +4500 odds to win Super Bowl 60 at Levi’s Stadium.
Despite the overwhelming disadvantage and Micah Parsons still without a new contract, offensive lineman Tyler Smith believes the Cowboys can win the Super Bowl.
Prescott backed his young teammate.
Hell Yeah… If guys don’t believe that, they are on the wrong team.

Prescott and the Cowboys will be put through the ringer on opening day. They are up against the holders, the Eagles, in Philadelphia. In the recent poll from Bleacher Report, the Eagles are heavy favorites to win the game with -290 over/under odds, while the Cowboys are +240.
It’s shaping up to be one heck of a fixture for the defending champions. Jalen Hurts has a point to prove because he was left out of Cam Newton’s top 10 quarterback list and finished ninth best in the ESPN poll.
