After a disastrous end to an NFC East title season, Dak Prescott found himself under scrutiny once again, but this over his health. Lately, there have been several rumors concerning the quarterback’s health as fans are claiming he is not in the best space.

Pro sports bettor Steve Fezzik addressed the subject in the recent episode of The Ross Tucker Podcast. He confirmed the rumors that the quarterback is not 100% healthy and that’s why fans are not betting on the Cowboys much for the upcoming seasons.

News is, he’s not 100%, and they’ve been betting against the Cowboys the last three days. There’s rumors that he had an MRI. That’s unconfirmed, but that’s the rumor that I’m hearing.

Fezzik clarified that since the original source of this news is not confirmed, it can not be said for sure. Contrary to which Cowboys beat writer Mike Fisher reported that a source dismissed the rumor saying it’s a “non-story.”

However, if the rumors turn out to be true which it will before the training camp and preseason, it will genuinely put the Cowboys’ Super Bowl chance in question. But the quarterback had participated in the offseason program and also worked out at the Tight End University just two weeks ago. Therefore until a reliable source addresses the rumor, nothing can be said for sure.

Rumors swirl as Cowboys stall on giving Dak Prescott blockbuster contract

There’s another thing that hints towards the rumors being true, it’s the Cowboys’ hesitation in offering Prescott a record-breaking deal as he seeks. For the impressive regular season performance last season, Prescott has the potential to earn a mammoth deal.

There have even been reports that the quarterback is likely to earn a $60 million per year deal in his next extension. However, the negotiations have been in motion since the beginning of the season, and based on the ongoing rumors, the Cowboys need to be cautious.

Moreover, he is also projected to win fewer games than last year, when the Cowboys won the NFC East title. This many speculate is because of his rumored injury and health conditions.
