Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin in the last few years has established himself as one of the biggest stars of the sport. He currently has hands in every pot in NASCAR as he is chasing the championship with JGR, is a fully invested team owner at 23XI Racing and is also media person with his Action Detrimental podcast.

Most of this growth and the marketing of his peaked in the last couple years, as he started his team owner and podcasting journey alongside the Next-Gen era. Denny Hamlin’s involvement in the NASCAR Netflix Docu-Series Full Speed and the increased interactions he is having with fans has also made him an assert for the sport.

Recently, NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. was asked about who he thinks is the most interesting personal in the current NASCAR grid. He was quick to name Denny Hamlin, as the JGR driver has a good zinger, solid one liner and creates a lot of problems for a broadcaster like Junior to use the most of it.

Junior discussed the drama over the Kyle Larson’s waiver and pointed out that he never doubted that the No:5 driver wouldn’t get one. He like many in the racing community is ion shock over the delay in decision making.

I can understand a lot of his (Jordan Bianchi's) points about that, but for me, I feel like NASCAR has been so loose with these waivers at this point, I never doubted him not getting a waiver ... I thought he'd get one.

Junior, just like many of the NASCAR fans, might be in for a bigger shock as the latest reports suggest that the sanctioning body is planning for deny the request for waiver drama. It would be really interesting how NASCAR would handle the backlash if Larson didn’t get waiver.
