Damian Priest squared off against Rey Mysterio in the main event of the latest episode of Raw. After an interference-filled match, the World Heavyweight Champion was able to put away the veteran. However, his celebration was cut short by the #1 contender, Drew McIntyre. The latter jumped Priest from behind and delivered a Future Shock DDT.

Moments later, he took the champion outside of the ring and prepared to lay him out on the announce table. Just when he was about to unleash his wrath, McIntyre got distracted by Michael Cole‘s commentary. This led to his losing focus on Priest, which allowed the Archer of Infamy to capitalize. The champ delivered a South of Heaven Chokeslam onto the table. Hence, The Judgment Day stood tall to end the show.

Once again, Drew McIntyre let his emotions get the better of him. At WrestleMania, his obsession with CM Punk led to him getting attacked by his rival. Moreover, this allowed Damian Priest to cash in his Money In The Bank contract, ending the Scot’s reign in over 5 minutes. This has become a worrying concern for McIntyre, who’ll have a home advantage at Clash At The Castle.

The Chosen One is set to challenge Priest for the World Heavyweight title at the upcoming PLE. In addition to his new attitude, The Judgment Day can play a key role in helping the champion. Furthermore, there’s a certain Second City Saint who can show up and once again spoil McIntyre’s dreams. Having said that, the 38-year-old star will have to be wary of what lies ahead for him in perhaps the most important match of his career.

Drew McIntyre vows to give title opportunity to CM Punk if he wins at Clash At The Castle

Drew McIntyre is confident of walking out of his home country as World Heavyweight Champion. As such, he has promised to offer CM Punk a title shot once the latter returns to in-ring competition. After last week’s SmackDown went off-air, the Scot cut a promo prior to his dark match.

As usual, he took a shot at the Best in the World. However, he also vowed to win the world title and defend it against any challenger, including Punk. That being said, the former AEW star will most likely return in time for SummerSlam.

Moreover, he and McIntyre are expected to settle their rivalry during the summer. Whether or not the program involves the top prize on Raw will be interesting to see. In the meantime, The Scottish Warrior will look to respond to Damian Priest‘s beatdown on last night’s episode.
