Damian Priest put on a show at Clash at the Castle. He showed off his wrestling skills and proved all the criticism wrong. However, at one point, the Judgment Day member was close to ending his career while performing a high-flying maneuver. It resulted in a botch, which was quickly noticed by the referee and even by Drew McIntyre.

The Punisher was trying to dive outside of the ring onto Drew McIntyre. However, his foot got stuck in the top rope. It led to a massive botch as he landed right on his neck on the apron. Priest remained in the position for a few minutes, as it was difficult even for the referee to help him. He was eventually helped by McIntyre, who twisted the ropes in order to take the world champion out of his misery.

It was a dangerous spot as the Judgment Day member landed on his spine. The fans looked terrified, and Michael Cole on commentary expressed concern about the position. Moreover, it clearly caused some damage to the leg of the champion. Priest wrestled throughout on one leg, and the effects of the injury were visible.

Nonetheless, Damian gave one of the best performances of his career. He went on to make history by defeating the Scottish Warrior in his home country. Besides, he has certainly secured a path towards SummerSlam, where he is likely to face Gunther to defend his World Heavyweight Championship.
