Detroit Lions training camp witnessed greatness on Thursday when Hulkamania dropped to encourage the entourage. Wearing a blue bandana, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan gave a solid pep talk and even backed Dan Campbell’s team to win the Super Bowl.

While the camp was just getting started and the players began to arrive, fans waiting to greet their icons at the entrance noticed a car that they weren’t familiar with. Social media reactions to Hulk Hogan meeting Dan Campbell at Detroit Lions training camp

The section that wasn’t too happy with Hogan at Lions Camp shared one common trait among them—most of them were anti-Donald Trump. Their anger stemmed from the fact that Hogan spoke in favor of the Republican leader at the Republican National Convention or RNC.

While netizens bickered on social media, Hogan chatted away with Campbell and held a pep talk session with the players. The 12-time World Champion announced that Campbell had done a great job by winning the NFC North after such a long time and backed the team to reach the Super Bowl.

He even considered himself the new mascot of the Lions and wished Campbell could be his tag team partner.

Whether Hogan being at Lions camp turns out to be a course because he spoke highly of Trump is farfetched. Regardless, the Lions have a big task in hand to better their last season’s heroics. They will kick off the 2024 campaign by welcoming the Los Angeles Rams on September 8.
