Since taking over as the head coach of the Detroit Lions, Dan Campbell has slowly turned the once-poverty franchise into a side that generates fear among the NFL sides. Yet, that same Dan Campbell had to put his mansion for sale, fearing for the lives of his family members.
According to Nick Manes of Crain’s Detroit Business, Dan Cambell and his family are selling their home for an asking price of $4.5 million due to security concerns. A report from Manes documented his conversation with the former NFL tight end turned coach.
Campbell reportedly revealed that Campbell and his family loved the home at Bloomfield Hills. The neighborhood, especially, is wonderful.
There's plenty of space; it's on two acres; the home is beautiful. It's just that people figured out where we lived when we lost.the Campbell family said about the mansion and its adjacent locality

Why is Dan Campbell selling his mansion?
The said mansion was built in 2013 by former Detroit Red Wings center and Hockey Hall of Famer Igor Larionov, and in 2021 Campbell bought the property for $3.5 when the Lions hired him as their head coach. The mansion stands on an area of 7,800 square feet with amenities like five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
The 48-year-old got off to a rocky start in Michigan, finishing with 3-13-1 but kept making positive changes, and in the following season, they won nine games, narrowly missing out on the playoffs. The Lions finally secured post-season football for the first time since 2016 by winning the NFC North in three decades.
Their journey finally ended in the NFC title game because of a rookie mistake from Dan Campbell. Instead of going second, he signaled to take the kickoff in overtime, which gave the San Francisco 49ers the chance to come back and win the game.
After the defeat, the address of Campbell’s mansion got leaked on the internet. It created a safety issue for his family similar to how Travis Kelce had to leave his.
It’s uncouth for a handful of fans to do such an act because Detroit loves Campbell and his gung-ho attitude. Even Detroit’s favorite son, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was rizzed up last season because he saw his beloved Lions playing an attacking brand of football.
The Lions started the season with several changes but kept hold of the core players. Jared Goff became one of the highest-earning quarterbacks in the league alongside Amon Ra. St Brown became one of the top-earning wide receivers. After two games, they currently sit at 1-1 after losing to the Buccaneers once more. Up Next, they will face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3.
