NFL Analyst Dan Orlovsky has made a bold proclamation about the Washington Commanders’ rookie sensation Jayden Daniels, following the team’s win over Cleveland Browns. Orlovsky predicted that the young quarterback would make the team into a Super Bowl contender.

Following a wonderful start to the season, the Commanders now boast an impressive 4-1 record with Daniels. In Week 5, Daniels had 238 passing yards, a TD, and brushed off an interception from early in the game like an experienced NFL player would.

On ESPN’s ‘Get Up,’ Orlovsky compared Daniels to Baltimore Ravens QB and reigning MVP Lamar Jackson, pointing out the rookie’s dual-threat capabilities. Orlovsky highlighted how Daniels’ ability to seamlessly combine his passing and rushing skills has revitalized Washington’s offense. He is the only rookie to record 1000+ passing yards and 250+ rushing yards in NFL history.

Orlovksy also noted Daniels’ connection with his supporting cast. The rookie quarterback’s chemistry with WRs has added a new charm to the Commanders’ offense. Orlovsky praised Daniels’ poise and calmness, especially under pressure.

Washington has found their Lamar Jackson. The playmaking with his feet is spectacular, and automatically this team is going to contend for Super Bowls because of this young player. Passing, the time of their pass game has gone up. They run the ball well with Brian Robinson, his connection with the receivers. He’s (Daniels’) unfazed, nothing fazes this young man.

Daniels was selected as the second overall pick in the draft and has already claimed the Offensive Rookie of the Month honors in September. Orlovsky was initially hesitant to place Daniels in the MVP conversation. However, Orlovsky admitted that he is reconsidering his stance after how Washington keeps getting wins over tougher defenses and Daniels’ consistency.

Fans turned up in Jayden Daniels’ jersey in Washington

As the Washington Commanders rose to become one of the hottest teams in the NFL, fans showed their belief in the future. The hope for a better future is seen with soaring sales of Jayden Daniels’ jersey by fans.

The surge in jersey sales marked a shift for a fanbase that has clung to the lingering memories of past legends. Fans traded in legends like Sean Taylor and Sonny Jurgensen’s numbers for No. 5 and Daniels emblazoned on their backs.

Terry McLaurin and punter Tress Way were the only bright spots in their struggling franchise for some years. Names like Chase Young and Robert Griffin III failed to show any success and had almost blown the light of the Commanders’ candle. In addition to the jersey sales, there have been reports that the recent success of a newer identity under Adam Peters has revitalized communities as well.

Communities across the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area are once again buzzing with football excitement. Reports suggest that the recent game has been reminiscent of the days when roads cleared on Sundays as fans flocked to watch their team.
