UFC CEO Dana White is most thrilled about the upcoming White House event scheduled for next year’s celebration. The occasion will mark America’s historic 250th Independence anniversary with a one-of-a-kind spectacle never witnessed before in combat sports history. Reports confirm the deal was finalized, and the monumental fight would unfold on the White House lawn.

As anticipated, the challenge surrounding the White House event is guaranteeing the safety of the President and distinguished officials. In previous instances, White openly discussed his smooth collaboration with the Secret Service during President Donald Trump’s UFC appearances. Recently, he admitted such concerns will restrict audience numbers but also revealed having an alternative plan.

I mean, the security is going to be a massive issue because at the end of the day, Secret Service’s job is to protect the president. And I don’t know how it’s going to work out as far as having people there live on the lawn of the White House. It’ll be under 5,000, though, but there’s a park that’s connected to the White House. We can put 85,000 people over there with screens and, you know, we’re going to put a big stage out there and do concerts.

According to multiple reports, the official weigh-ins for the historic event are scheduled to take place at the iconic Lincoln Memorial. The main fights themselves will unfold on the South Lawn of the White House, creating an unforgettable patriotic stage. Fighters are expected to warm up inside the White House before walking out to giant screens and massive fireworks.

Dana White has vowed to make the White House spectacle surpass UFC Noche, branding it the “Baddest fight card of all time.” Naturally, the historic celebration has already lured some of UFC’s greatest legends, including Jon Jones, Conor McGregor, and Nate Diaz. Among them, White has strongly vouched for the ‘Notorious’, who is finally expected to end his four-year hiatus.

This groundbreaking project stands as a testament to the long-standing bond between White and Trump, mutually benefiting both sides. Trump was among the first to support White during UFC’s uncertain beginnings when few believed in the promotion’s potential. In return, the UFC boss has played a significant role in Trump’s political journey, especially last year, with impactful campaign speeches.

White will lead alongside WWE President Nick Khan, with TKO handling day-to-day operations, broadcast production, and fighter management responsibilities worldwide. Reports confirm fighters under the promotion will access UFC Performance Institutes in Las Vegas, Mexico City, and Shanghai for elite training.

The inaugural event under the “Zuffa Boxing” banner will take place this weekend between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford. Going into the fight, White recently talked about his vision for boxing in the future.

This is how you build an NFL or NBA. This is how it’s done. I feel like we’re starting from scratch now with boxing. I believe we can do it again… You’ll actually know some of these champions now.

White also talked about starting a Contender Series for boxing, which will ensure a continuous flow of talent. He plans to use a UFC-based system in boxing and unify the belts, and make sure the best fighters fight each other. As expected, this has alarmed the conventional boxing promoters who are ready to go head-to-head with White.
