The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) wants a piece of the UFC action. The controversial new director, Kash Patel, held a special conference call at the beginning of the week. He outlined his imminent plan to form a partnership with the UFC in the hope of improving the training and fitness of the global field agents. Dana White and Co. might have a new global sales force of combat fighters in their midst.
White had made the foray into many international shows and arenas. UFC even opened up civil Performance Institutes in many nations, with public/group access. Hence, FBI’s Kash Patel now jumps the gun on choosing UFC as a go-to training regime. However, there are oppositions to that. The reactions of the active ingredients ranged from “surreal” to “crazy” and agents hardly want to be part of White’s fight force.
If they’re trying to up their physical fitness, the UFC is very specific in their fitness, …I don’t want UFC to take over the gym.
Ex-special agent in charge of FBI’s Newark, New Jersey office, Rich Frankel to ABCNews
There’s the thing that MMA combat and policing combatives are widely different. Dana White has often urged signing fighters to his Contender Series and other offshoots who chase those elusive finishers. Violent and hard-hitting finishers. Whereas FBI fighter force around the globe would largely prefer to ‘disarm and disengage’. Sorry, GOAT Jon Jones, but lawman operator duties and Pound-for-pound duties are very different.

There’s also another debacle on this FBI wishlist. Three-time GOP Presidential nominee and current POTUS on his last run, Donald Trump, is a close friend of Dana White. The UFC CEO and headman often walked him out with glory and glamor to big pay-per-view cards.
Trump also pushed the ‘fighter’ in a fighter’s world rhetoric hard, amid struggles and charges of indictment on 34 counts of falsifying business records for 2016. Hence, there’s a feeling that the director just ran to Trump’s closest ally to combat changes in their fighting force.
EX-DOJ rips into Kash Patel for naming UFC training as option
In a teleconference Wednesday with the FBI’s 55 field office directors, Patel indicated he wants the FBI to formally engage with the UFC. It’s not clear what Kash Patel wants them or the UFC to do or offer to improve FBI fitness.

The Trump administration’s department of government efficiency, under the guise of billionaire businessman Elon Musk, is stirring up storms. There was even recent AI debauchery where an image depicted Trump kissing Musk’s feet.
Patel wants to shift focus into deeper agendas of the FBI’s work fighting crime. However, many have pointed out that he ran to the one person in the combat sports industry that both Trump and Musk have a longstanding relationship with. i.e., UFC CEO Dana White.
There is training the FBI receives in physical altercations, …If Kash Patel believed that should be beefed up, the answer is not to go to Donald Trump’s best friend who runs the UFC. It’s clearly motivated by the glitz and glamour show, and Trump’s friend.
Ex-Department oof Justice official told Reuters, anonymously
Formerly advising President Trump as a one-time GOP aide, Patel was confirmed by the US Senate to lead the FBI. He was sworn in a few days ago and has vowed to shake up the bureau. FBI currently touts more than 37,000 employees in 55 US field offices. White has always opted out of such political affiliations and agendas. But, if this partnership ever came to fruition, the hammer is coming down on White as well.
