According to Dana White, the UFC White House event is the best card that UFC fans can experience from the promotion. The company has invested a whopping $60 million, which is thrice of what they spent for UFC Noche back in 2024. However, this time, the ticket prices for the event will not be exuberant. Instead, it’s free of cost.

The main card for the White House event was recently announced, and Ilia Topuria will headline it against Justin Gaethje. In the co-main event, Alex Pereira takes on Ciryl Gane in a much-anticipated interim heavyweight championship bout. Other than this, Bo Nickal, Sean O’Malley, and Diego Lopes are some of the other known faces on the card.

However, fans shared mixed reactions to the card as they wanted big names such as Conor McGregor and Jon Jones. However, Oliveira adopted a much safer tactical approach, repeatedly using grappling exchanges and positional control to neutralize Holloway’s dangerous striking attacks.

Most rounds began standing, but quickly transitioned to the canvas, where Oliveira maintained control and secured the unanimous decision victory. Several observers, including Conor McGregor and Diaz, criticized the bout publicly.
