Dana White bets 1 million on Ben Askren

The former UFC welterweight fighter Ben Askren is going to compete against the YouTuber Jake Paul in a boxing match and the boss Dana White who once resented Askren so much is now on his side moving into this match.
Dana White is putting an enormous amount of money behind Ben at his upcoming match on April 17 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. During a podcast with Mike Tyson, he said there is no way Jake beats Ben, and he is ready to bet 1 million dollars on it.
The conversation with Judah from the podcast is follows:
White: “Let’s be honest, Jake Paul isn’t a fucking boxer. This guy is a fucking YouTube kid.”
Judah: “Dana I watched him, he’s been working hard, Dana. I have seen him put it together.”
White: “Zab, no bullshit. You are hanging out with the kid, you know him; you’re saying he can fight? So the kid he is going to fight is a wrestler, decorated wrestler. But he has actually fought real guys. He has been a world champion in other organizations in MMA.”
Judah: “But it’s different though, Dana, when you’re standing up … from wrestling to you are standing up and letting them hands fly, one thing I will say about him is he’s got hands. I am not joking.”
White: “I hope you can bet on this thing because I will bet a million dollars that he loses this fucking fight. I bet a million dollars that he loses this fight
Jake Paul doubles up the bet

Following Dana’s statement, Jake Paul replied and said, Dana let double the bet up! 2 million. We wire the money into escrow. 4 million total. My team will be in touch to make a contract.
Say whatever you want to say about Jake but he sure knows how to create the hype around his events and so far he hasn’t disappointed.
