UFC CEO Dana White has joined ex-POTUS Donald Trump at several political events. White has always had strong political opinions and has been vocal about those on several occasions. In one such instance, the UFC CEO dismissed attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris, who has been often accused of “DEI” hire.

White joined CNN’s Laura Coates on Friday evening to discuss his support of former President Donald Trump. Coates also wanted to discuss White introducing the Republican nominee earlier this month at the Republican National Convention. Coates eventually turned to the temperature of the campaigns, citing Republicans who have described Harris as a “DEI” hire. White responded without getting heated.

As voters, what we need to do is cut through all the BS and you have to look at who do you think is best fit to run the country for the next four years... You guys are really bad. Fox is bad. Everybody’s bad. Cut through the BS and vote for who you think is most fit to run the country.

In the interview, White stated that he has no animosity against Kamala Harris. However, he believes that the current vice president is unfit for the job. When Coates pressed him on gender equality in politics, White argued that the issue goes both ways and there will be many debates on it until November.

The CNN reporter seemed to disagree with White. Following that, the UFC CEO didn’t drag the interview again. White concluded the interview by urging everyone to consider who is more fit to run the country. It is similar to the advice he recently gave to popular kick-streamer Adin Ross.

Dana White has been criticized before for his views. Interestingly, White is a supporter of former president Donald Trump, and this has put him in the firing line from many sources as well. White has also spoken at the Republican National Convention three times in 2016, 2020 and 2024. All these imply that he has been a part of politics in some way or other. However, there is one thing that the UFC CEO doesn’t like about it, is the interference of media.

Does Dana White hate the mainstream media?

Dana White has often given himself an appealing presence in front of the press. His confrontations and retorts directed at numerous reporters remain a highlight of his media appearances. Interestingly, there are several journalists that the UFC CEO truly dislikes. One such is popular MMA journalist Ariel Helwani.

Interestingly, the UFC has demonstrated that it doesn’t rely on backing from traditional media channels. It has established itself as an independent entity with its own regulations. These imply that White doesn’t really like to entertain the mainstream media.

They are a bunch of f**king zeroes that sit around and write stories about the people who are actually doing s**t.

In one instance, he even slammed them for trying to divide people. Seemingly, Dana White’s hate towards the mainstream media will never cease to exist. However, in general, White is respectful of reporters and journalists who attend his events and just bans those he doesn’t like.
