The UFC CEO Dana White often makes exciting announcements. The UFC CEO has often flirted with the idea of making a move to take over the ring. Now, Dana White has announced the expansion of his combat sports domain further, including boxing. This time, he officially confirmed it at a recent press conference.

It has been over a decade since Dana White has run the UFC. Over the years, by gathering detailed analyses of combat sports, he has often teased opening new ventures. Most recently, his new endeavor, Power Slap, has become one of the popular events that complement Dana White’s stature. With a rising desire to further expand his influence, he has now decided to enter the boxing world.

This comes after a long-standing feud between Dana White and boxing. The UFC has often slammed boxing as a sport. Per White, he feels that MMA is much more interesting than boxing. To be precise, once the UFC CEO went off at Showtime Boxing for their horrific lackluster shows. Interestingly, even UFC’s biggest superstarConor McGregor, supported White in that.

Apart from Showtime, White also has heated rivalry against other top boxing promoters, including Bob Arum and Oscar De La Hoya. Over the years, White and these two promoters have traded several verbal jabs at each other. However, that raises the question of when this feud against boxing will end. Following the recent revelations, it seems like White won’t try to berate boxing further as he is entering that world.

White has played a key role in elevating his MMA organization into one of the most prominent entities in global sports. Interestingly, when he enters the boxing world, the combat community expects the same outcome as that of the UFC. However, apart from his involvement in the Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather superfight, he has not officially committed to the sport.

With that being said, it might raise doubts in several individuals about White’s intention to try his hands as a boxing promoter. However, the UFC CEO is promoting several boxing fights amidst that.

Most recently, he posted about the upcoming fight between Callum Walsh and Przemyslaw Runowski. Not only that, White also asked everyone to watch the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois fight.

This comes after the UFC CEO’s successful Noche UFC event with a record-breaking gate number. Interestingly, even his recent outgoings with boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh might have played a role in White’s recent announcement. With that being said, it will be interesting to see White’s next step in boxing. As of now, he has kept it all a secret.
