UFC Macau included a head kick finish, a spinning wheel kick, and an upset submission; Dana White missed most of it due to 'his habit.'

Make lemonades when life gives lemons and revel in the winnings. Dana White watched UFC Macau in the wee hours of the morning like most. But at least the UFC CEO was stationed at the blackjack table during the event and some of the action. It’s good to know that as the world’s biggest fight promoter, White has his priorities straight.
The UFC’s return to China was not a time-saving one for fight fans, with the “Prelims” undercard starting at 3 AM ET. This was necessary for fight fans watching live in Macau. But it left the hardcore fans tired and sleepy for the early morning start. Luckily, gambling man Dana White had his fix.
White shared his time at the table via the live feed during the main card opener of UFC Macau. It was a scrap between light heavyweights Zhang Mingyang and Ozzy Diaz (which ended in a gnarly KO finish). The promotional CEO talked about the fights for about a minute before cutting the feed as his hand was being dealt.

It’s no secret that White is an avid blackjack player and likes to gamble some ridiculous dough in his spare time. But Dana White hedged his card skills to the test during a fight card he was to be promoting – aka UFC Fight Night 248 in Macau. Fortunately for fight fans, the card delivered incredible results from start to finish.
UFC Macau bonuses: Zhang Mingyang, 3 others cashes in with impressive showings
Four fighters walked away with an extra $50,000 each in Performance of the Night bonuses after an action-packed UFC Macau. No Fight of the Night cheques were handed out this weeekend. Mingyang was one of the highlights of the show as he scored his 11th consecutive stoppage with a brutal R1 KO of Ozzy Diaz. The ‘Road to the UFC’ alum is now 2-0 since joining, collecting bonuses in both appearances.

Shi Ming also impressed in Macau. She knocked out Feng Xiaocan one minute into the third frame to become the first winner of the ‘Road to UFC’ Strawweight Tournament. Feng was stretchered out of the cage as everyone looked on the horrifying aftermath.

Consequently, Gabriella Fernandes spoiled the party with a huge upset over Wang Cong in round two. Battling through a rough first round to floor Wang with a left and sink in a shocking rear-naked choke. Joker found her Batwoman with ground and pound prowess.
Additionaly, the fourth award went to Muslim Salikhov. He landed a vicious wheel kick to knock out Song Kenan in the opening round. The 40-year-old is now 8-4 in UFC competition. The Petr Yan vs. Deiveson Figueiredo main event bill capped it off with high-pacing action. All in all, it was quite a stellar card from Dana White and Co.
