Dana White speaks on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s return; names four fighters he might take on if he returns

Khabib Nurmagomedov has retired and it has been a month since he did so. But, that doesn’t stop his name from popping up time and again. The Dagestani produced a stunning performance when he defeated Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 via. a submission in the second round. He then shocked the world announcing his retirement saying that he had promised his mother he wouldn’t fight in the octagon without his late father and that the Justin Gaethje fight would be his last fight.
Of late, there have been rumors afloat that Khabib Nurmagomedov might make his return, although the Russian has remained tight lipped about it. More recently, Dana White addressed at the possibility of Khabib making a return to the octagon, and also who Khabib will fight if at all he decides to come out of retirement.
“If he decides to return, one of those guys would be in for the fight” – Dana White
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Dana White was quoted as saying, “Yes I think there is a good chance he returns. His father wanted him to go 30-0. He was super emotional after his last fight. I think he will return. Nothing’s done but if I had to make a bet and I am a betting man I say Khabib returns.”

“It won’t be GSP. Conor and Poirier are going to fight we are talking about Chandler and Ferguson fighting, we’ll see how all these things play out here. If he decides to return, one of those guys would be in for the fight.”
