Social media sensation Dananeer Mobeen of ‘Pawri ho rhi hai’ fame becomes brand ambassador of PSL side Peshawar Zalmi
Pakistani social media sensation, Dananeer Mobeen who went viral with the ‘Pawri ho rhi hai’ has now been appointed as the brand ambassador of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Peshawar Zalmi. The teenager has been going viral by the day after her video was viewed by millions around the world.
In India as well, the video has been going viral. This is especially after music director Yashraj Mukhate came up with a tune for the same and helped in spreading its reach in the subcontinent. In fact, Yashraj’s version ended up getting a lot more views than the original version.
Such was the popularity of the video that it spilled on to the cricket field as well when the Pakistani team was seen recreating the video. Now, Peshawar Zalmi have decided to appoint the girl as their brand ambassador in the PSL.
Dananeer Mobeen shares the news of her appointment
After Dananeer Mobeen was named the brand ambassador of the Peshawar Zalmis, she took to Twitter to share the news with her followers. She wrote, “I’m SO excited to finally announce that I am now an official part of the ZALMI family!” Dananeer was also present in the stadium and was seen cheering for her team during the opening match against Lahore Qalanders. Unfortunately for her, Zalmi lost the opening match by 4 wickets.
As aforementioned, the Pakistani cricket team had also recreated the video after their T20I series win over South Africa. Hasan Ali is the one who leads his team in the same as he is seen saying, “Ye main hun, ye meri team hai aur hum series jeet gye hain aur pawri kar rahe hain (This is me, my team and we have we have won the series and are partying.)” The rest of the team can then be seen cheering for him.
