The Indianapolis Colts are among the six unbeaten teams, with one fixture left in Week 3 to be played. The Colts, who were considered a dormant outfit ahead of the season with quarterback troubles, defeated divisional rivals the Tennessee Titans on Sunday to reach their first 3-0 start since winning the Super Bowl in 2007.
In the offseason, the Indianapolis Colts signed Daniel Jones to replace Joe Flacco, who joined his former team Cleveland Browns. Jones, a former New York Giants quarterback, was highly inconsistent in his last two seasons with the Giants, winning just three games for them in 16 starts. He was benched and released in the middle of the season last year, after which he spent time with the Minnesota Vikings.
The decision to sign Jones was met with disappointment from the fans and the media. It was initially thought that Daniel Jones would be the backup for Anthony Richardson, the young quarterback whom they signed two years ago. As the season rolled on, the Colts’ management decided to keep Richardson as the backup and allow him to develop in the background, and started Jones. Something whole of Indianapolis fandom was against.
In three games, Daniel Jones has become ‘Indiana Jones’, a nickname Jones has earned with his marvelous performance. The Colts opened the season with a dominant win over the Miami Dolphins, followed by a close contest with the Denver Broncos, a playoff team from last year. On Sunday afternoon, they got the better of the Titans 20-41.

Jones has completed 63-for-88 (71.6% completion rate) for 816 yards and three touchdowns. The passing yardage is third best in the league, only behind Los Angeles Chargers’ Justin Herbert and Las Vegas Raiders’ Geno Smith. He also recorded 17 carries for 55 yards and three touchdowns with his legs.
Furthermore, the Colts are the first team to win three games to start the season with the fewest amount of punts, 3. The ’07 Patriots previously held this record with 4 punts in their first three games.
The Crossroads of America is no longer at a crossroads about Daniel Jones
In the three games, Daniel Jones has given life to Indy and the Colts’ offense. The offense was firing on all cylinders, especially Jonathan Taylor, who rushed for three touchdowns against the Titans yesterday.

The new identity of the Colts has social media users calling out the Indy fans for disrespecting Daniel Jones. A selected few praised the ones who stuck out through and believed in Jones. The social media was quick to point out that the transformation came after the exit from the New York Giants. They brought up the fact that Saquon Barkley also shot from being a running back to a Super Bowl champion and an MVP.
I think a lot of Colts fans owe him an apology.

It's cool to see people jump on the Daniel "Indiana" Jones bandwagon now.

But the ones who knew he was a good quarterback while everyone else ripped him, major respect to you.
No one is stopping Indiana Jones 👀

Honestly, he's been way more impressive than I expected. Playing with confidence we didn't see from him last year!

I genuinely love seeing this. Just had to get out of a dumpster franchise! 💯

Despite the hot start, the three wins haven’t come against strong opposition. The Dolphins are a mess, the Broncos are having trouble with Bo Nix in the center, and the Titans fall on the weak side. Several social media handles were quick to point out this.

The Colts travel to Los Angeles next week, where they will face the mighty Rams. The Rams (2-1) are one of the strongest teams in terms of offense in the NFC. Week 4 will surely be testing stick for Daniel Jones.
