Danielle Collins has revealed that she has now gotten a new boyfriend weeks after uploading a husband application form to fans on social media. The former World No.11 revealed this during the latest Nothing Major podcast run by former ATP trio Sam Querrey, John Isner, and Steve Johnson.

Collins first announced that she had parted ways with her long-time boyfriend Bryan Kipp. The two had dated for a long time after meeting at a cafe in Wimbledon, London. What began as a casual talk between them gradually evolved into a serious relationship, despite both partners having contrasting worlds.

A few weeks ago, Collins revealed that she’s seeking suitors while also revealing the criteria for dating her. The 31-year-old declared that she’s moving forward with her life following her split with Kipp and will want to start a family with a new partner. She added that the suitor must also be taller than her and must be financially stable.

ATP trio Querrey, Isner, and Johnson then reacted to it during an episode of the Nothing Major podcast, stating that they would open an application form in which suitors will fill out and will only close it when Collins decides it is the right time. The 2022 Australian Open Finalist has since then received a lot of applications from potential suitors to be her boyfriend.

But it was during the most recent episode of the podcast that she finally revealed that she has finally gotten a boyfriend. The American star narrated that he has blue eyes and works in finance and that they have gone on dates on eight to nine occasions. She added that she hopes everything works out for them:

I’m dating someone, we’ve been out like 8-9 times exclusively, it all happened pretty quickly. So far, everything is going very well, he doesn’t know about tennis, has blue eyes, works in finances, just started his own company. I hope it works out, I’m a lot of woman, not for everyone, we’ll see if he can handle it. I have a strong personality, can be a bit of a diva, as many have seen on the court.

Collins has been away from the tour since August after ending her season at the US Open, where she suffered a first-round exit. She ended her 2025 season with a 15-14 win-loss record, just months after wanting to hang her racket at the end of the 2024 season.

Danielle Collins opens up about the life of a women’s professional tennis player

Danielle Collins was meant to start a family with her ex-boyfriend, Bryan Kipp, after she decided to retire last year, but her lingering health problems due to fertility and endometriosis forced her to continue playing. However, being a professional tennis player, it has not been easy for her to also have time to build her relationship with her partner.

During the aforementioned interview, she spoke candidly about the unique difficulties of dating as a tennis player. She pointed out that successful women are intimidating to men, and added that women players also hope that the people they date make huge sacrifices as they have to travel often:

If you’re a successful guy, you have infinite options. But when women become successful, the dating pool narrows. Men can be intimidated by successful women. It’s valid — for me and for a lot of my friends. It takes a huge sacrifice from the people we date. I’ve been lucky with supportive partners, but the lifestyle is still hard. We’re bouncing from continent to continent with crazy schedules.

Collins wrapped up her 2025 season at the North American hard-court swing with just one win. She crashed out in the opening round of the WTA 500 tournament in Washington, D.C., and followed it up with a second-round finish at the Canadian Open in Montreal before a disappointing first-round exit at Cincinnati.
