Celebrations are part of any player’s success, and tennis stars are no exception. Whether it is winning big matches or major titles, players have always celebrated their success in their own way. From Jo-Wilfried Tsonga‘s ‘Spinning and Jumping’ to Gael Monfils’ ‘Wakanda Forever gesture’ fans have been treated with some of the most hilarious and iconic celebration from their favorites. But one exception to this tradition is Russian star, Daniil Medvedev.

The 24-year old doesn’t indulge in any kind of celebratory gestures after winning big matches or claiming major titles. Medvedev does not show emotions and stays in a casual mood after he wins paramount titles and trophies. Fans and pundits have scrutinized the Russian for his behavior. However, Medvedev doesn’t mind this scrutiny.

The most recent example of Medvedev’s non-celebration came at the 2020 Nitto ATP Finals, where he defeated Dominic Thiem to claim the title. Medvedev appeared to be very calm and casual as he won the match point against the Austrian and wrote his name in the history books.
