Daniil Medvedev is considered to be next in ranks to the Big 3. The Russian has proven his worth time and again since the past year with his incredible performances.
Since November 2020, he has won the Paris Masters, the ATP Finals, the ATP Cup for Team Russia and reached the final of the Australian Open.
Medvedev is currently playing the Open 13 tournament in Marseille. He is the top seed in the tournament and is scheduled to play Matthew Ebden in the semi-final on Saturday.
Recently, Medvedev spoke about Federer, Djokovic and Nadal. Like almost everyone, the Russian is a big admirer of the Big 3.
Their Grand Slam achievements are crazy: Daniil Medvedev on the Big 3
The Russian said that the achievements of the Big 3 are crazy. H added that he didn’t knew how they were able to win so much and he would like to ask them what went through their mind and how they prepare.
“They are just different. Their Grand Slam achievements are crazy.”, he said.
“I do not know how they were able to win so much. After their retirement I would like to ask them what went through their mind and how they prepare.”
Medvedev holds a phenomenal record against the top 10 since the past few months. He will be the first player outside Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray to be ranked in the top two since Nadal overtook Lleyton Hewitt to become number two in 2005.
