A lesser-known fact about the Diggs family is that there are three sons, Stefon, Trevon, and Darez Diggs. While Stefon and Trevon are known to the masses for having successful NFL careers, Darez is often forgotten. However, his name began making rounds last year, but not for the right reasons.

Darez Diggs was involved in an elevator attack in May of 2023. He has now pleaded no contest to a felony charge levied on him about the same case. He has also received two years of probation and has to perform 20 hours of community service as per TMZ Sports. A Los Angeles courtroom announced the sentence with respect to the felony count of grand theft from a person.

The incident that took place within an elevator saw the brother of Stefon Diggs orchestrating the beatdown of the victim inside an apartment building in downtown Los Angeles. Darez could be seen asking two of his friends to hit the man and then steal his jewelry. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.

While Darez Diggs has not played in the NFL, he was listed as a defensive back on the Los Angeles Wildcats of the XFL in 2020. After that, he began his college football career at Iowa Western Community College and then proceeded to transfer to the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His plans to enroll for the NFL Draft or compete as a pro remain unclear.

Both his brothers, Stefon Diggs and Trevon Diggs, are pros. The former, who is the newest wide receiver on the Houston Texans, faces a change of scenario for the second time in his career. In an unexpected move, the Buffalo Bills traded him for a 2025 second-round pick. Trevon Diggs, on the other hand, had a short second season after he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee that led him to sit out for the entire year.
