Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury 2, earlier this year, saw Fury come out unscathed after brutally rag-dolling Deontay Wilder, ultimately winning via TKO in the seventh round. The win handed Wilder his first ever defeat in his glorious boxing career, while Fury remained unbeaten. The aftermath of the match saw a lot of excuses from Wilder, who blamed it on his heavy ring walk costume and even claimed his water in the ringside was tampered; drawing heavy criticism from the combat sport community.

Elsewhere, UFC middleweight Darren Till who always has a funny side, took to Twitter to ridicule Deontay Wilder’s recent claims. Wilder got MEMEFIED!

It all started when Deontay, still reeling from his loss against Fury, took to twitter posting a video where he can be seen asking Fury to man up and fight him in another rematch. He even went to claim that the water was spiked and in the end it took a throwing of the towel to stop the match.

Speaking in an interview with 78Sports TV, Wilder made an outrageous claim saying, “About 15 minutes before going out to the fight, warming up on the mitts, it was perfect, I felt great. Until I went to the ring. That transformation, I was drinking certain water and stuff, trying to keep myself hydrated. I just start feeling weird. My water was spiked as if I took a muscle relaxer or something like that. After a fight is over with and it don’t go in your favour you’re always looking for what happened. Certain things, the atmosphere just didn’t seem right. It felt like something was about to go down, and not in my favour. It wasn’t just the suit, my water was tampered with (as well).”

Darren Till sees the funny side of it!

Darren Till, the humorous Scouse, saw the funny side of Wilder’s comments, posting a picture which depicted Tyson Fury giving Deontay Wilder water during the round break. He captioned the post, “What really happened.”

Do you think the “Bronze Bomber” deserves another shot at the “Gypsy King”? Or do you think that Wilder has to move on and take the L, like a champion?
