Darvin Ham blamed the Lakers ‘health’ for the poor season

With his coaching, Ham has also faced a lot of criticism for his statements and opinions about the Lakers undermining season. The HC even publicly disagreed with his star player after getting called out for poor coaching. Even after the exit from the playoffs, Ham is still not ready to take responsibility for the loss.

During this playoffs, the Lakers roster had been the most healthy as compared to the regular season. However, after being asked about what the Lakers need to do for a successful season next year, Ham blamed the players’ health in the press conference. The HC also firmly revealed that he does not see any problems with his rotations as they are ‘secondary’.

Fans were furious after Ham’s statement but they should be relieved as the coach might get fired for the good. It will be interesting to see who the Lakers bring in next season, as they also have a risk of losing LeBron James in the summer.
