It appears veteran wide receiver Davante Adams is not yet over his mockery by the Chargers in a social media post. He sent out a stern warning to the team for involving his name in any of their posts– that too as disrespect.
Earlier in May, the Los Angeles Chargers targetted their divisional rival’s star player with an affront social media post. In a creative campaign on X, the Chargers gave each of their opposing team for the 2024-25 NFL season a Pop-Tart flavor. And when it was the turn of their AFC West rival, they posted a picture of Adams next to flavor classified as “garbage.”
In his recent appearance on the Up & Adams Show podcast hosted by Kay Adams, the star receiver addressed the Chargers’ social media post about him by sending out a warning to the team. He expressed how irritated he was by the post but he is waiting to give them a befitting reply by outperforming them in the coming 2024 season.
They posted me and then like a picture of a trash can or something like that- the Chargers did. And so, I thought about responding on social media to it and being funny there, but I figured it would be better to just beat their head in real life and continue doing it the way--The Chargers' social media page: Please keep my name out your mouth.Davante Adams said

Davante Adams advocated for Antonio Pierce to become Raiders head coach
During his interview with Kay, the veteran wideout also expressed his excitement for the upcoming season. He revealed how he insisted upon the hiring of Antonio Pierce for the head coach position after Josh McDaniels was fired following the Raiders’ 5-4 start last season.

He's [Antonio Pierce] the type of guy that I really enjoy speaking to, working with, so I basically tried to do everything that I could to make it to where the front office didn't have any other choice.Davante Adams said
Even though the star player didn’t give his team an ultimatum for the head coach position, he did put pressure on owner Mark Davis to promote Pierce for the job and no one else after he posted a 3-5 record as an interim head coach.
