It seems star wide receiver Davante Adams is fed up with hearing how much potential the Las Vegas Raiders offense has when they hardly show anything on the field. In the two seasons he spent with the team, he ended up with losing records.

He departed the Green Bay Packers with five Pro Bowls, two All-Pro First Team, and an applause-worthy receiving yards record of 9,031 and 741 receptions. Considering his declining stats at the Raiders, the star receiver has now decided to focus more on producing results, rather than thinking about his offense’s potential.

I mean, you stop talking about potential when you’re like 10 years old. So, at the end of the day, it don’t really matter how good we can be. I definitely wouldn’t want to put any expectations on anybody, but it’s no secret we’ve got some dangerous weapons on the team as a whole, not to mention offense.

While analyzing the reality, Adams also praised the current wide receivers group of the Raiders, sharing they have formed a comfortable bond with each other, forming a “pretty cohesive unit.” He also shared that he and his teammates also spend time together outside the franchise’s facility, which is a trick for developing a better bond and connection with his receiving corps.

Davante Adams aside, Raiders seek passing offense improvement with coaching staff change

With the change in the coaching staff, the Raiders are hoping to tackle their shortcomings and improve their passing offense, which ranked 23rd in the NFL last season. As of Adams, though he led the Raiders in receptions of 103 and receiving yards of 1,144 yards, he logged the second-lowest yards per catch average of his 10-year career with 11.1.

In addition to this, there has been a lot of instability in terms of the team’s most crucial position– quarterback. Shifting from Derek Carr and Jarrett Stidham in 2022, to Jimmy Garoppolo, then moving along to Brian Hoyer, and Aidan O’Connell

Under Josh McDaniels as the head coach in the past two seasons, there were a lot of games that they could have won but failed. It is worth noting that there were games that they did win.
