Back when Jordan Love sat behind Aaron Rodgers as backup for three years, Davante Adams posted two of his best seasons that earned him All-Pro honors consecutively before parting ways in 2022. In that brief time, the young quarterback established an impressive reputation and earned the respect of the veteran wide receiver.
After learning from the Super Bowl champion for three seasons, Love astounded everyone by leading the Green Bay Packers to a playoff victory in his debut season. This season, despite struggling with injuries, he recorded 2,244 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in 11 games, while holding a 8-3 season record.
Observing his development in the past two seasons and closely analyzing the Packers’ star quarterback for two seasons in Green Bay, the three-time All-Pro showered high praises on him during his interview with Kay Adams on the Up & Adams show.

The veteran receiver also credited Love for the Packers’ winning seasons, stating that he always “lead his team back” when they appeared down. With their eighth win against the San Francisco 49ers, the Packers are closing in on a playoff spot– marking Love’s second consecutive postseason appearance.
Packers players rally behind Jordan Love ahead of Thanksgiving showdown
Despite the success of the Packers, there has been skepticism about Love’s inconsistent playing style. Ahead of the upcoming Thanksgiving game against Tua Tagovailoa’s Miami Dolphins, the Packers players aim to make sure their young quarterback earns the recognition he deserves.
His teammate, running back AJ Dillon expressed similar sentiments when he claimed FOX owes Love a turkey leg on his appearance on 97.3 ‘The Game.’ He was referencing the Thanksgiving tradition of NFL games, where the MVP is rewarded with a turkey leg.
Last season, Love indeed gave an MVP-level performance with three passing touchdowns and 268 yards, yet he did not receive the appreciation.
