Jayson Tatum‘s son Deuce knows his way in the NBA world after often accompanying his father to his games. In a reversal of events, the Boston Celtics sat in the stands to watch the 7-year-old play in the court. As he took to social media to laud Deuce, Barstool Sports Founder Dave Portnoy had a peculiar comparison to Bronny James.
Jayson Tatum took to Instagram to share a clip of Deuce taking a shot with a move all too familiar to the NBA star. The 7-year-old made a few dribbles before spinning around a player and scoring. Even the Celtics star was stunned by his move, making him express bewilderment. Dave Portnoy took to X to share the story while making a strong opinionated comparison to LeBron James‘ son Bronny James.
However, it came at the expense of the NBA rookie as the Barstool Sports Founder quipped Deuce as the better among the two. Social media erupted into a wave of surprise at the bold take. However, it wasn’t the first time they saw Bronny James receiving flak from Dave Portnoy. In a recent clash, he made stronger opinions on the Lakers’ star standing in the NBA, alleging it came after his father’s hand to stir.

Consequently, the Lakers fans are in a constant war of words with Dave Portnoy over his critical stances. As for Deuce, who has become a long time fixture for the Celtics, nobody was complaining. He has also had several wholesome moments with huge names in the league while watching his father play.
Dave Portnoy expresses animosity for LeBron James
Dave Portnoy’s antipathy towards LeBron James is not a fresh occurrence in the NBA world. Then again, the Barstool Sports Founder hasn’t been shy of admitting it to the public. In an interview with Patrick Beverley on The Pat Bev Podcast, he shed some light on his feelings.
Portnoy labelled himself as ‘number one’ hater for LeBron James. Adding to it, he justified the hatred by his loyalty to the Celtics whom he beat several times in the past. His loathing extended to the Celtics fandom who resonated with his emotions.
I’m the number one LeBron hater in the world. I’m the league leader.
Dave Portnoy confessed
Not just that, LeBron James has costed the Celtics several titles in past. As Portnoy quipped, his ‘hatred of him’ is prolonged and documented.
