Dave Portnoy calls Bronny James ‘Make-A-Wish-Kid’ after LeBron James confronting Stephen A. Smith goes viral
Barstool founder Dave Portnoy also has added his take on the viral LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith's courtside interaction.

Stephen A. Smith, LeBron James and Dave Portnoy
Many people have responded to the altercation between LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith during Thursday night’s Lakers game. Some supported the Lakers star man, whereas some criticized him. Dave Portnoy, the creator of Barstool Sports, views himself as impartial in all matters related to LeBron. However, he had a bold remark regarding his son, Bronny James.
Portnoy expressed sympathy for Bronny after watching the video of LeBron approaching Stephen A. and reportedly pleading with the ESPN presenter to stop bringing up his son. Seeing this, he insists that Bronny is the NBA’s version of a “Make-A-Wish kid.” He took to his X account to put forward his views on this situation.
My heart aches for Bronny James. Poor kid doesn’t belong in the NBA. He can’t quit. He didn’t ask for this. His dad created an impossible situation for him. He’s a Make-A-Wish kid in the NBA. I just hope his dads insatiable ego doesn’t ruin his love for this beautiful game.

Portnoy further decided to discuss the matter in a full-length video a short time later. Although he has no stake in the outcome, Portnoy stated in his video that he believes James Sr. is receiving too much extra attention and “kid gloves” because of his role in introducing his son to the NBA.
I need to rant about the #bronny James story. I’ve always been fair and unbiased to Lebron but this story is one of the more insane stories of all time. Stephen A with the kid glove treatment https://t.co/6qVr0ZfsG9 pic.twitter.com/aw4pi9u7Vx

Additionally, many are claiming that LeBron James is the first to blame for the whole controversy. Not only that, Bronny has been poor in the NBA ever since he was drafted. NBA experts still have to deal with it, regardless of whether it’s a comment on James’ parenting.
LeBron James’ ex-teammates Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson call out Stephen A. Smith
The LeBron James-Stephen A. Smith viral video has taken the NBA world by storm. Mainly because it involves Bronny James, a Los Angeles Lakers’ rookie, who has faced immense criticism, especially by Stephen A. Smith. However, LeBron James’ former teammates, Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson, chose to call out Smith’s recent antics.

Because it went viral? lol

Kevin Love replied to Stephen A. Smith’s post on X, “You have no choice? lol Because it went viral? lol You didn’t want to have to? lol You wouldn’t have? lol.” In addition, Tristian Thompson quoted Love’s post and agreed with the negativity James and his son are facing.

Love, LeBron, and Thompson have a great friendship. During their four seasons together, they helped the Cavaliers defeat the Golden State Warriors and win the 2016 NBA championship. James has never had an issue with Stephen A’s criticism, and the analyst has never been afraid to challenge him either. But the King wants Smith to stop talking about his kid, Bronny James, and his parenting abilities.
