There is absolutely no doubt that only some could manage what Stephen Curry has managed till date. Given his height and strength, the Warriors player is one of the modern-day NBA Greats. His brother Seth Curry has been acquired by Philadelphia 76ers from Dallas Mavericks in the hopes of getting the franchise deep into the playoffs. Having Embiid and Simmons alongside, Seth could play a bigger role for the 76ers.
This could surely improve 76ers shooting from behind the arc, with a career 44.3% from the deep, he can be the ideal third-scoring option behind Simmons and Embiid. In the past two seasons, Seth has fallen in the top-three in three-point shooting. However, Seth cannot escape from the constant comparisons that are made to his brother, Stephen Curry.

It’s pretty easy. I just focus on what I do. I play basketball the way I know how to play it. Personally, I’ve dealt with it my whole life, especially, growing up in Charlotte under my dad’s shadow,” Seth explained as per Essentially Sports. “He played in Charlotte for 10 years, so I feel like I grew up under the spotlight in some sense. It got larger as Steph became an MVP candidate and one of the best in the league. But it’s no different in my process and the way I go about doing things. It’s just knowing who I am as a player and maximizing what I do and letting everybody compare us how they want.”
Seth will be lucky to have a familiar face around him in the Sixers. His new coach, Doc Rivers, also happens to be his father-in-law. So, it must be exciting for him to start his journey there. Do you think Seth can complement Ben and Joel on the court?
