In the very first episode of “Cleats and Convo with Deebo Samuel”, San Francisco 49ers players Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk joined co-host Liv Moods. The trio had a lot of discussions ranging from last week’s performances of the Niners and many others to Bryce Young‘s benching among the plethora of others.

Amongst the discussion topics were the depth of the San Francisco outfit. They have almost retained all of the Super Bowl running players to go for it once more. The team looks as sorted as it was when they led a terrific run in the NFC last season. They got Brock Purdy, Trent Williams, Nick Bosa, and Christian McCaffrey all settled as they look to win the Super Bowl for the first time in almost 30 years.

Deebo Samuel, who suffered a calf strain, will miss out a couple weeks of play. Drafted in 2019, Samuel has played for the Niners for five seasons. In four of those, they have gone to the NFC Championship game. It is ideal that they will want that coveted Lombardi now. 

If I'm looking at it like you just said, for as hungry, I'm full at this point. It's time to really clean the plate. It's either now or never. That's how I kind of look at it. With the guys that we have, I've been a part of the best team in the NFL for the past six years. And so, we're always there. We got to get it done.
Deebo Samuel said

He later emphasized that giving one’s best out there is what is needed to feel no regrets. He took the chance to highlight their abilities and positioning in the league as the best team.

Be your best self and like long as you know you left it all out there, and like when lose a draw, like long as you know you gave it everything it's like you... In my eyes, we are the best team in the league for a while.

Samuel was joined by his teammate Brandon Aiyuk, who also agreed with what Samuel had to say regarding the team strength.

Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk gave more anecdotes about the 49ers squad

The duo had only positives about their team strength. They kept on highlighting the game that the team has been playing for some time now. Both Aiyuk and Samuel made the same note to argue that the current 49ers is one of the greatest teams assembled in history.

Throughout the talk, there were multiple instances of talking about the squad. When Woods popped up a video from the annual Kyle Shanahan party, the duo made fun of Shanahan and voiced out how they felt about him.

Similarly, they also backed up their quarterback, Purdy, who was drafted as Mr. Irrelevant a few years back. Samuel also tried a call to Purdy in between on a fan request. However, he didn’t let it ring much, saying he’s recently married and might be at dinner with his wife.

The San Francisco 49ers are currently 1-1 after a win against the New York Jets and a loss to Sam Darnold‘s Minnesota Vikings. They will now face the Los Angeles Rams in week 3. They have around three more weeks before they meet the Super Bowl champs, Kansas City Chiefs.
