(Video) ‘Furious’ Deebo Samuel attacks his own long snapper and kicker after their third missed field goal against Buccaneers
Jake Moody's head was still in the clouds for most of the game against the Buccaneers, missing three field goals.

Jake Moody’s return as the starting kicker in the San Francisco 49ers lineup did not go according to plan. He not only missed a series of field goals, but also got himself embroiled in a confrontation with Deebo Samuel.
The 49ers wide receiver usually remains calm, but even one of the coolest individuals has a tipping point. On Sunday, when the 49ers faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Florida, Samuel lost his temper and lashed out at his kicker.
Moody, who missed a few games due to injury, replaced Anders Carlson in the starting lineup. However, he missed three field goals, costing the 49ers valuable points as the Buccaneers kept breathing on their neck.

Samuel confronted Jake Moody and long-snapper Taybor Pepper and, in a fit of rage, flared a right hook. He barely made contact with either of them, but Pepper had a lot to say about the sudden transgression. As the microphone wasn’t able to pick up on their conversation, it’s unclear what they said to each other.
Jake Moody’s late field goal saves face for the 49ers
Samuel’s harsh words worked like a charm for Moody. The Michigan graduate dispatched two additional three-pointers, eventually landing the chance to steal the game away from the Bucs’ noses.
Quarterback Brock Purdy engineered a last-minute drive, leading the 49ers inside Tampa’s fifty-yard territory, which is Moody’s sweet spot. With basically the last touch of the game, Moody scored the all-important field goal and won the game 23-20.

After the game, 49ers beat writer Cam Inman spoke with head coach Kyle Shanahan about the argument between Moody and Samuel.
He further elaborated that he wouldn’t disturb a kicker too much before he’s about to try one.

Don’t have much of take, didn’t see it. Obiuously one guy frustrated. Brothers scuffle. Didn’t see it. Not too worried about it. If not fixed yet, we’ll fix it on the plane.
Inman revealed that special team coordinator Brian Schneider had a lot to talk about with Moody.
Asked Shanahan if he talked with Moody before winning kick.

"No. I don't want to mess with a kicker. What would I say, better make it? Does it help or hurt?'
Special teams coordinator Brian Schnieder said he had lot to say to Moody, and that he was all good, as evident in end
Brock Purdy ended the game with 25/36 for 353 yards and 2 touchdowns. All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey, who started his first game of the season following a lengthy injury, lodged 13 carries for just under forty yards, along with 6 receptions for 68 yards. Deebo Samuel had 5 catches for 62 yards, while Jauan Jennings had 7 receptions for 93 yards.
The win puts Shanahan’s team on 5-4, midway through the season. Even though the 49ers and the NFC West leaders, the Arizona Cardinals, have the same win-loss record, the Bay Area franchise can leapfrog them depending on the result of the Cardinals-Jets game.
The win extends their run to three back-to-back victories: Buccaneers, Cowboys, and Seahawks. Next week, they will face the Seahawks once more, but in front of the home crowd at Levi’s Stadium.
