Conor McGregor is out and about away from the scope of fighting. McGregor’s UFC/MMA return seems as elusive as “Notorious” himself before media pressers. While he has left the fight, the fight hasn’t left McGregor though. Amid lush antics, alleged nose-blows, and such, he has kept one fight alive. The one for his country; McGregor is even driving up presidency talks yet again.

McGregor has been drumming up interest in his combat return very sporadically. McGregor Sports and Entertainment, UFC, and its parent TKO Group Holdings and BKFC are major players tugging at the topic. So far, his 2025 has remained controversial from racist rant to commanding BKFC: KnuckleMania 5. His interests are clearly splintered. However, what remains is his strong voice for his nation.

Despite a turbulent running and the smoke around his UFC return, Conor McGregor remains active. In 2020, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation received a handsome $1m donation from McGregor’s Proper No.12 Irish.

Recently, he worked the NYSE trading floors with 42nd ex-POTUS Bill Clinton. The proceeds from his Crumlin Boxing Club went to NYC Cops & Kids Boxing, and Harlem Free Fight Academy Nonprofit. He also worked on food drives and such from 2023- 2024.

McGregor also made stern comparisons with ‘old’ Irish guard to promote his presidency and take jabs. The leniency of the old guard, imports to Irish lands, and months of riots accumulated many voices in his support.

The Irishman even wanted to dissolve or reform the Dáil Éireann (House of Representatives of the Oireachtas/AKA Irish Parliament) for not aligning to the working man’s solutions. As such, his wild bid for presidency for the nth time is a famous affair.

Many athletes have successfully made the transition into politics, and Conor McGregor is no different. Despite being out of the professional game for almost four years, the Irishman is still very much in the spotlight. This is largely due to his involvement in the socio-political scene of the Republic of Ireland.

The Irishman once responded to an article on Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTE) claiming to have expanded a 21-home housing development for The Large Scale Residential Development (LRD) application. That venture has crossed some triple-hundred units now! Units for the ‘working Irish man’, as McGregor says.

As apparent from his latest threads, immigration and imported talent issues ail McGregor as well. Immigration measures are his main problem with the Irish government. He recently critiqued the choice to convert a building into an IPAS (International Protection Accommodation Services) center, which houses asylum seekers. Conor McGregor reports it was a site for a planned Superpub.

An ardent supporter of the Donald Trump administration, he also lauded VP JD Vance’s speech shared on X. There was talk of ending the Ukraine-Russia conflict and how Europe needs to increase its defense spending. However, the focus of his speech was mainly on criticism of European governments. Vance accused European leaders of ignoring voters and restricting freedom of speech.

McGregor, on a straight rail towards the current government, upvoted his thoughts. Meanwhile, fans upvoted his political acumen and holding the Irish land for the Irish.
