The most admired tennis player, Roger Federer has been away from the tennis tour in 2020 post- Australian Open. The 20-time grand slam winner is sheerly missed and fans are eagerly waiting for him to be back.
However, amidst all the rumors, the fans were worried if Roger would have retirement on his mind. The 39-year-old star had to undergo two knee surgeries but fortunately is back on the court. At a recent live chat, Federer has assured that he is not going anywhere.

The Swiss Master could not contest in any of the tours post- January. It was his luck that the tour was halted majorly because of the pandemic. Roger utilised most of his time with his off-court commitments, mainly endorsements. At a recent live chat, Federer was asked about his plans about entrepreneurship and that meaning he is backing down from tennis.
“I am still fighting for my come back, I want to be back on the tennis court. I would love to play with the legends of the game and the best players. And I feel maybe there is a little more that is left in me,” he said.
Roger has asserted that other “experiences” are also of value, including being a father or a tennis player, and other duties. However, he has declared that he is not retiring anytime soon.

“I’m definitely not stepping away off the game right now. But it’s fun to be an entrepreneur, philanthropist, tennis player, and all this stuff. But, No, I am not retiring anytime sooner,” he said.
The reaction that followed the answer of the GOAT was a long “Hurray” by the host of the chat. All the tennis fans have the same reaction knowing that the 20-time grand slam winner still has some tennis left in him. As per recent updates, Federer will compete at the Australian Open.
