Colorado head coach Deion Sanders revealed a generous act of kindness from his son and Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders. According to Coach Prime, Shedeur helped one of his Colorado teammates buy some furniture due to financial reasons.
However, Sanders further claimed that the player left the team and entered the college football transfer portal without even saying a simple thank you. Even though Shedeur didn’t forget the incident, he never spoke to the media about it.
From Prime’s point of view, it only shows the thoughtful side of Shedeur, which people often conveniently overlook to create a negative narrative about him. Despite being one of the best quarterback prospects for the 2025 NFL draft, Sanders’ off-field antics and apparent cocky nature make him a very divisive character.

A former player even accused Shedeur, along with his brother Colorado’s corner, Shilo Sanders, of bullying. He also left the team and entered the portal before the 2024 season started.
Shedeur Sanders Heisman Trophy odds
The 22-year-old Sanders has been phenomenal this season and is one of the main reasons for the Buffaloes breaking into the college football rankings as the 21st-best team in the country. Sanders has thrown 220 completions for 2591 yards (73.3 completion rate) for 21 touchdowns and 6 interceptions.
Travis Hunter is another player who quickly rose to fame because of his splendid two-way abilities. Hunter contributes on both offense and defense. Since switching from Jackson State to Colorado last season, Hunter has appeared in 16 games and caught 108 passes for more than 1325 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, along with 36 combined tackles, five interceptions, and three pass deflections as a cornerback in the defense.
According to Forbes Magazine’s Heisman watch, Hunter boasts shares the same odds (+185) to win the Heisman Trophy as Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward. Meanwhile, Shedeur is currently the seventh favorite to win the Heisman Trophy with +4500 odds, sandwiched between Ole Miss’s QB Jaxson Dart (+2000) and LSU’s QB Garrett Nussmeier (+6500).
