It appears that Deion Sanders is considering a return to the NFL but as head coach, potentially ending his two-year stint in college football. This speculation was sparked during a conversation with rapper Ice Cube, who advised Coach Prime to help his son, Shedeur Sanders achieve the next level, who is making his debut next season, and apparently flirting with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The season is not going too well for the Raiders as they hold a poor 2-8 record under head coach Antonio Pierce, making fans wonder about his future with the team. If the franchise ultimately decides to move on from head coach and pursue Colorado star quarterback Shedeur, there’s a strong possibility that they could strike a deal with Deion to become head coach.

Lately, the senior quarterback is observed posting “Thank you GOD” for each of the Raiders’ losses this season, viewing them as opportunities for them to secure a higher draft pick that could lead to his selection. The Grammy-winner rapper also commented on the speculations surrounding Shedeur potentially landing in Las Vegas which may attract Coach Prime as well.

In an exclusive interview with Rocsi Diaz and rapper Ice Cube on the We Got Time” podcast, Coach Prime went into the discussion of his future in the league, if there’s any. The discussion started when Deion sought Ice Cube’s advice on whether it would be better for his son to enter the league on his own or if he should provide guidance to Shedeur by following him to the Raiders.

Why not?” Cube responded to Deion’s question with enthusiasm.

And, if it’s in a Raiders uniform … Come on, baby … That would be a dream come true as a fan.

As Deion appeared to take Ice Cube’s advice, he shared a quick handshake with him with a smiling face. This isn’t the first time Coach Prime’s name has been linked with a team as Rex Ryan previously suggested his name to his former team, the Dallas Cowboys to potentially replace head coach Mike McCarthy next season.

He dismissed all previous speculations about joining the Cowboys, reaffirming his commitment to Colorado and expressing a desire to stay for the long term. However, his recent interview has led many to interpret otherwise.
