Dakota Kai is one of the most underrated and underutilized superstars in WWE at the moment. While she often gets a lot of TV time, she is always bundled in tag teams or factions, which she is never the focus of. The Women’s Intercontinental Championship is a perfect tool to provide opportunities to those like her. However, it appears that it wasn’t meant to be.
Following the latest episode of Raw, Kai penned down her thoughts on X. She still seemed to have a never-give-up attitude and thanked her fans for the support. Furthermore, she congratulated Lyra Valkyria on becoming the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

She embraced the victor, congratulated her, and raised her hand. While fans were happy for the Irish wrestler, commiserations went out to the Damage CTRL member.
Dakota Kai says that its not over for her yet

Kai congratulated Lyra Valkyira and said that she deserved to be the first women’s IC champion. Lastly, she said that things were not over for her. Kai signed her first contract with WWE in December 2016, although she had made a few appearances on the developmental brand before this. Since then, she has won tag gold on both NXT and on the main roster multiple times. However, singles gold has always evaded her. She has asked for singles opportunities multiple times, and although she did not win this time, she had a great showcase, and there is no doubt that better things await her in the future.
