Heading into the playoffs, the Baltimore Ravens were one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. But to do that, they had to defeat the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional round to take that next step. The game saw Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and Mark Andrews do their bit as they fought the cold to try to win.
With just under nine minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Ravens were five points away from tying the Bills. After receiving the snap from their own half, Jackson saw Andrews heading down the middle and then threw it to his tight end.
However, as he tried to run with the ball, Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard reached out and got his hand on the ball. It came out, and the Bernard landed on the ball to claim the turnover. Andrews is usually a very reliable tight end. Therefore, there was no hesitation in Jackson or the team to target him again.
That confidence showed when the two connected on the following drive that resulted in a huge 1st down. The drive ended with a touchdown to teammate Isaiah Likely. However, the Baltimore Ravens were still two points short of sending the game to overtime.
After head coach John Harbaugh signaled a two-point try, Lamar Jackson scrambled to his right and as soon as Mark Andrews was close to the end zone, threw the ball to him. With his back to the red zone, the tight end caught it but immediately fumbled it.

After this fumble, the 29-year-old star cut a dejected figure. While sitting on the sideline, a fellow teammate was seen trying to encourage him. However, it seems Andrews knew his fumble cost them the season.
Lamar Jackson backs up Mark Andrews
The dejected Mark Andrews did not speak to the media after the loss. He was probably too disappointed in himself for causing two crucial game changing turnovers. The second one was inexplicable for a player of his stature, however, his quarterback had his back when speaking with reporters.
Lamar Jackson was clear just that one costly turnover on the two-point conversion was not the reason the Ravens lost. All throughout the game they had turnovers that helped the Buffalo Bills end up winning it 27-25.

Had they taken care of the ball, the Bills would not have chances to score. Then maybe it was the Baltimore Ravens who would go on to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game next weekend.
