23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports joined forces last year to sue NASCAR over monopolistic practices after they refused sign the new charter deal. Under Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan’s leadership the alliance was able get few injunction orders in their favors, but in the latest hearing of the case NASCAR seems have the upper hand.

The reports suggest that the judges are not impressed with 23XI-FRM owing to the fact that they are enjoying the benefit of a deal they are opposing on the court this season. Denny Hamlin, talked about the current state of the case at Kansas Motor Speedway and revealed how he is keeping up with litigation, while proclaiming his confidence in his legal team.

You know, they’re telling me kind of what’s going on. I didn’t get to hear it live or anything like that. But we’re overall pretty confident in our case.

Denny Hamlin told ESPN.

He the asserted that judges haven’t made any new ruling and the as of now the status quo is going to continue. Hamlin seems to address the reports that come out in favor of NASCAR, which if it’s true is going to ruin everything they have built over the last four years at 23XI including their credibility as a strong team.

You know, the judges haven’t made any kind of ruling…so until they do, then we’re going to stay status quo.

Denny Hamlin added.

If 23XI fails the case and the judge’s rule against them midway to the season, it’s going to chaos as they will have a lot to answer to their sponsors as there wont a place for them to complete. Their drivers Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick and Riley Herbst will become free agents who can move on easily to another team, with their sponsors.

There’s no other place to compete… It will cause havoc to overturn this injunction in the middle of the season.

23XI lawyer Jeffrey Kessler asserted.

Denny Hamlin gives his verdict on NASCAR’s All-Star race plans

Earlier in the week, Denny Hamlin gave his verdict on the changes NASCAR is set to make to the upcoming All-Star race at North Wilkesboro. The change in question is the promotor’s cautions. A rando caution might be called before the 220 lap of the 250-lap race, under some condition and it might change the whole dynamic of the race.

Denny Hamlin though isn’t much concerned about it, as he doesn’t thing nothing much is going to change because of it. Since there are some conditions, he believes the drivers will have to time to plan for the sudden change. But if the yellow flag is waved to early than they expect, there is a potential for chaos.

Nothing really changes. It seems like it’s a pretty much straight-up race, other than you have that caution that could happen in that window. You would think if there’s no caution somewhat near, they’re going to throw it. I would just plan on it.

Denny Hamlin said.

The comment from the veteran shows he isn’t that excited or concerned about the proposed changes, which is concerning to the fans as this might lead to a dull race. It would be interesting to see how everything will playout at North Wilkesboro.
