The San Francisco 49ers dominated the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night. It was a forgettable night for Geno Smith and the offense as they struggled to get into rhythm. The quarterback ended the game with one touchdown and two interceptions. It was equally frustrating for wideout DK Metcalf because he had a 52-yard touchdown called back and had to settle for 48 yards on three receptions.

DK Metcalf’s underwhelming performance has sent one cornerback over the moon. 49ers’ Deommodore Lenoir jumped at the chance to take a shot at Metcalf as he called him out in his post-game press conference.

I just know the hyena can’t be f***ed with...that’s all I know…there was a lot of conversation out there, we kept it football but you know, one of us showed up tonight... You know, he going to talk, I mean that kind of build guys confidence up but me…the proof is in the pudding.

Lenoir ended the game with six tackles and two assisted tackles. He called out the wide receiver as a player who talks a lot but on Thursday night, failed to back his words up. Lenoir believes his actions on Thursday night spoke louder than the back-and-forth he had going on with DK Metcalf.

Deommodore Lenoir took immense pride in shutting down DK Metcalf

The cornerback continued to celebrate on Friday morning. He went live on Instagram and as he was playing music in the background, he was vibing to it while taking shots at DK Metcalf.

He got 3 catches. It’s 14XL out there…You feel me? Three of them though. Did all that talking, fat mouth… Fat mouth did all that talking…baddest in the room right here…It ain’t 7-eleven no more!

The Seattle Seahawks struggled to put points on the board. An illegal shift penalty cost them a touchdown and a chance to score a field goal. Metcalf’s 52-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter was in vain as his right cleat ended up landing out of bounds.

Deommodore Lenoir played a big role for the 49ers after he broke a pass up to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. His interference compelled the Seahawks to settle for a field goal as they headed into halftime.

For San Francisco, this was a must-win game as the team has lost two games against NFC West opponents despite entering the fourth quarter with a sizeable lead this season.
