Deontay Wilder has finally decided to make his comeback and is currently scheduled to fight Derek Chisora next. Ahead of the fight, both fighters have been busy promoting the matchup, with several interviews and short clips going viral. Particularly, Wilder, who drew attention by making serious claims regarding his old rival Tyson Fury, which reignited controversy ahead of his return.

Deontay Wilder has shared the ring thrice against Tyson Fury, losing twice, yet still refusing to fully accept those defeats. In a recent interview, the American heavyweight claimed that the whole world knows that Fury cheated during both championship fights controversially.

After the comments went viral, broadcaster Simon Jordan confronted Wilder, stating he clearly lost twice and the accusations sounded flaky. Wilder reacted angrily, snapping into a heated rant, arguing that racial disadvantages influenced public perception and narratives surrounding his rivalry.

Why is it so hard to believe a black man? This whole world got something to do with race. You think your life has been like mine? You got White privilege brother. I’m a black man with dark skin, ain’t nothing ever been given to me.

Simon Jordan advised Deontay Wilder not to bring race into the discussion, but the American heavyweight ignored him and walked out mid-interview. Derek Chisora was present alongside Wilder and later backed him, claiming Jordan was warned not to mention Tyson Fury.

Chisora stated that despite clear instructions, Jordan still brought Fury into the conversation, triggering Wilder’s reaction and eventual exit. Wilder and Chisora share a brotherly relationship despite being scheduled to fight each other.

Following the incident, Wilder addressed the interview again, passionately explaining that he becomes protective whenever discussions involve black people. He went on to speak about white supremacy, claiming slavery still exists today, but manifests differently within modern systems.

Wilder also cited officiating examples, alleging referees favored Fury, including allowing extra recovery time during crucial knockdown counts. Deontay Wilder has repeatedly spoken about possessing proof and artifacts that he claims will eventually expose how Tyson Fury cheated.

According to Wilder, all alleged evidence will be revealed publicly through his upcoming documentary, which has already raised eyebrows about its potential release. Wilder has boldly challenged the ‘Gypsy King’ to sue him if he believes these accusations are false or deceptive. The growing drama eventually forced Fury to respond after he recently came out of retirement, addressing the resurfaced allegations.

Tyson Fury reacts to Deontay Wilder’s recent claims about cheating

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder fought three times, producing one controversial draw initially before Fury secured two decisive victories later. After defeats, Wilder previously offered excuses, citing his heavy ring-walk outfit and allegedly hard gloves worn by Fury during bouts.

Despite the heated rivalry, the British boxer frequently praised Wilder’s frightening punching power, while Wilder consistently maintained deep animosity toward Fury publicly. Following renewed claims, Fury responded bluntly, noting he is on a two-fight losing streak without accusing opponents of cheating him.

He mocked Wilder’s allegations, insisting losses happen in boxing, champions accept results, and excuses only distract from accountability and growth. Fury further escalated by sharing an image online showing him knocking down ‘The Bronze Bomber’ with a taunting, intrusive caption attached.

Tyson Fury is currently focused on his comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11, broadcasted on Netflix. There are also growing talks of a potential blockbuster bout against Anthony Joshua as Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing targets a Netflix fight. Nevertheless, it remains intriguing to see how, after all these years, the rivalry between Fury and Deontay Wilder ultimately unfolds.
