Following a visit to Taylor Swift’s concert at Rock Hard Stadium on Saturday, Derek Jeter took the event to describe his partners at the Fox pregame show. He spoke about his fun outing during the two-day break of the NLCS series. 

During the short break between Game 5 and Game 6 of the NLCS, Jeter took his daughters to a Taylor Swift concert in Miami. However, he said his experience there was almost similar to Fox’s pregame show, jokingly addressing Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz as “teenagers and toddlers”.

He brutally roasted his teammates saying they were no better than the “teenagers and toddlers” he saw at the concert, saying how it’s the situation he has to handle most of the day at Fox too. When asked what he did during his off day, Jeter said,

I took my girls to the Taylor Swift concert. I got a chance to hang out with a bunch of teenagers and toddlers. Very similar to what I do here at Fox.

A-Rod and Papi laughed off at the comparison on the set. The incident took place before the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched the NLCS title on Sunday. Likewise, on the ALCS side, the New York Yankees punched their ticket to the World Series for the first time since 2009.

Derek Jeter was excited to hear about his former team’s victory as he excitedly penned on social media, “We’re back”. The last time the pinstripes went to the WS, Jeter was part of the team. The Yankees beat the Cleveland Guardians 5-2 to clinch their ALCS title.

Derek Jeter once commented on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship

Last year Derek Jeter commented on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship and how much highlighted it got both in the sports and in the entertainment world. He said that the two worlds have “coincided for quite some time” so it wasn’t strange to see it once more.

In an exclusive interview with People, Jeter commented how fans are going crazy about their relationship and this has put the sports world in quite a spotlight. He talks about how “entertainers want to be athletes” but now the athletes themselves want “to be the entertainers themselves.”

…sports and music have been intertwined for a long, long time. In that sense, I don’t think it’s anything new. I think anytime you get a new set of eyes, a new demographic that’s paying attention to sports.

He said with all the Taylor Swift buzz, it’s not like she got a whole dozen new fans but “they probably were fans anyway”. Their relationship just put the NFL into much more focus than before. The duo was recently seen enjoying NY Yankees vs. Cleveland Guardians Game 1 of the ALCS before with black hats and similar clothing at the Bronx.
