“You can’t teach that precision” – $230 million man Deshaun Watson missing Browns receiver by a mile sparks wild reactions on social media
Deshaun Watson's return to the Browns saw him throw three interceptions, including one of the worst passes, in a loss to the Cowboys.

At some point, the Cleveland Browns must realize the investment in Deshaun Watson backfired big time. Watson’s rustiness was on full display against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
The 28-year-old, who missed a chunk of the 2022 and 2023 season due to injury and suspension, returned as the Browns’ starting quarterback. It did little to ease the nerves of the Cleveland faithful.
With a blink of an eye, they were down 3-27 in the third quarter, which Watson closed by throwing a 6-yard touchdown pass to Jerry Jeudy. If the Browns fans believed it was the start of a remarkable comeback, then they had another thing coming.

After the Cowboys failed to add any points, the Browns had possession once more. Deshaun Watson, on the other hand, threw one of the worst, if not the worst, completions of his NFL career.
Fans react as Deshaun Watson overshoots Browns receiver in the Cowboys game
The clock showed the match only had about 22 minutes left until the final whistle. On 1st & 10 in the 3rd quarter, Watson was in acres of space to find a Browns receiver. He targeted Amari Cooper, who was tailed by Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs.
The ball sailed over both of their heads and landed in the lap of CeeDee Lamb, whose expression spoke myriads of what he thought about the pass. It was more or less the same on the internet as Browns fans have had enough and the casuals who just can’t seem to have enough.
you can’t teach that precision.

Signing Watson was the football equivalent of Blockbuster not buying Netflix. The decision was obvious & to do the opposite was monumentally stupid https://t.co/IRBmT1czLM

This is the reality. He isn’t an NFL passer anymore.
— Cleveland Cam (@cleveland_cam) September 8, 2024
It’s important we just accept it.
Penalties, effort… we can talk about it, fine, but that stuff is irrelevant with this type of accuracy https://t.co/aM27J2HY0p
Worst contract of all time

Deshaun Watson is in the same tier as Daniel Jones but people don't wanna hear that bc hes making 250M and got it fully guaranteed. Browns are just braindead for giving him that deal LMAO.

Hes a walking corpse out there. Completely washed. He'd be on the bench as a backup if he…
Before the start of the season, former NFL player and now ESPN contributor Damien Woody put forward a good observation about Watson.
We haven’t seen high-level football from Deshaun Watson since 2020. He is the biggest unknown player that we might have in the National Football League right now.Damien Woody said
The Browns parted with first-round draft picks in 2022, 2023, and 2024, as well as the Browns’ third-round pick in 2023 and fourth-round picks in 2022 and 2024, and agreed to a fully guaranteed five-year $230 million to sign Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans in 2022. Since then, he has spent more of his time outside the football field than on it.
The Browns are paying Deshaun Watson $230 million guaranteed ??? https://t.co/7YTXjMfbyG

The Pro Bowler only played a combined 12 games before the season opener against the Cowboys, in which he threw three interceptions. He finished the Sunday game 24/45 for 169 passing yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions as the Browns lost 17-33.
