UFC Paris turned out to be as wild as it gets. The card delivered what it promised and gave the French fans a night to remember. The main event bout between Renato Moicano and homegrown hero Benoit Saint-Denis was an absolute banger. The Brazilian took the win on foreign soil but ended up paying a gruesome price for it.

At UFC Paris, Renato Moicano did what he promised and put on a performance. The Brazilian took two rounds to win the bout via TKO, extending his four-fight winning streak. After the fight, Moicano shared images of a dislocated collarbone. The images were quite gruesome as the bone was protruding from the inside of his body. 

The main event took place for 10 minutes and it was enough to give fans a bloody war. Both fighters stepped on the gas pedal from the get-go and shared brutal exchanges. Moicano was quick to land heavy blows which immediately cut open Benoit Saint-Denis’s right eye. The Frenchman tried to make a comeback but never got the momentum.

On the other hand, Moicano continued the slaughter and dominated his opponent both on the ground and on the feet. After the second round was over, the doctor stopped the fight as BSD failed the visibility test. After the fight, both fighters squashed their pre-fight beef and showed mutual respect by embracing each other. 

Fight fans react to Renato Moicano’s freak injury at UFC Paris 

After winning the bout Renato Moicano gave a wild octagon interview and mocked the French government. The fighter also made sure to call out fighters such as Paddy Pimblett and Dan Hooker for future fights. According to the Brazilian, these are easy money fights for him.

Other than the main event, UFC Paris had some incredible moments including controversial refereeing, fighters making fun of the French crowd, etc. Nevertheless, here are some reactions to Moicano’s latest injury;

Injuries like that are very common in the UFC. However, this one was pretty gnarly. Fight fans are astonished by the fact that Moicano fought the second round and mauled his opponent with an injury like that. The fighter also commented about it and mentioned that he suffered a shoulder injury before the fight but decided to continue the training camp.
