The journey taken by Team USA Basketball to win the gold medal in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris is legendary. The basketball community was fortunate because Netflix was present and was recording everything. After the run, the Court of Gold documentary on the streaming site is now available for public viewing.

The docu-series features USA’s top stars like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James. However, one star that was left out in particular was Devin Booker. Each episode featured a few key topics in the six-episode series, which followed the basketball teams of the USA, Serbia, France, and Canada as they competed for gold.

Throughout the series, Bam Adebayo, Curry, and Durant were among the prominent Team USA players. They made regular appearances in the series. Booker was completely isolated, so much so even in the final episodes, he was not present.

In response, Booker took to his socials on Tuesday night and reminded Netflix as well as the nation of his importance. He took to his Instagram stories and posted a series of pictures from the 2024 Paris Olympics. This was alongside James, Curry, and Durant. It was clear that the Netflix snub left Booker hurt.

Importantly, Booker was undoubtedly one of the three most influential players. The 28-year-old guard, who started all six Olympic games, shot 13 of 23 (56.5%) from outside the arc. Also, he averaged 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. Booker set aside his points-scoring mindset and developed into a defensive-minded, all-around player who blended in well with LeBron James, Durant, and Curry.

Stephen Curry hosted a special brunch event to celebrate Court of Gold Netflix documentary

Team USA won its historic 5th Gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This one was even more special because it was possibly the last one for superstars like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James. Notably, Curry hosted a special brunch event to celebrate their new Netflix documentary series: Court of Gold.

During the “Court of Gold – All-Star Brunch Hosted by Curry” event in San Francisco, the Paris 2024 Olympic basketball champion invited celebrities from the sports world and beyond. Former NBA champions Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes were among those present. Also, the former shared his ring with Curry while playing for the Golden State Warriors.

Music industry celebrities such as rappers Too $hort & Saweetie, Money-B, and Richie Rich were also in attendance. Produced by Higher Ground Productions, Olympic Channel, and Words + Pictures, the six-part documentary series follows four of the top teams in the globe. The docuseries has been a success with many fans letting out positive reviews.
